The carp and the climate: climate perception, general stress factors and adaptation strategies of the european carp pond farming

What is it about? The online survey aims to collect data on the effects of climate change on carp pond farmers in european countries and their possible adaptation strategies. In addition to these climate stress factors, however, the survey also focuses on other stress factors, such as social, economical or ecological stressors and their relation to each other.

Who is being surveyed? This survey is aimed on the one hand at carp pond farmers throughout Europe and on the other hand at experts working in this field. So anyone with a deeper knowledge about carp farming is able to participate and any type of business (e.g. main, secondary, recreational) as well as professional expertise on the subject of carp pond management is welcome!

Why is this survey being conducted? The online survey is carried out in the context of the PhD project of Maximilian Brönner, who is a PhD student at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) and researches on the topic "Climate risk factors, resilience & adaptation strategies of the regional carp pond farmers in the Aischgrund-region (Germany)".

What happens to the information you provide? Your answers are used exclusively for research purposes. They will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed on to third parties.
